ISFNET and Qsol Forge Strategic Partnership for IT Infrastructure Collaboration
In a significant move to bolster their collaboration in the IT infrastructure space, ISFNET Co., Ltd., headquartered in Tokyo's Minato district and led by CEO Yukiyoshi Watanabe, has officially partnered with Qsol Co., Ltd., the core IT company of the Kyuden Group based in Fukuoka City, and led by CEO Ken Hirohashi. This collaboration aims to enhance productivity, quality, and the overall structure of their ongoing projects.
Background of the Partnership
Since the initiation of their business relationship in June 2021, both companies have engaged in continuous communication, gradually deepening their collaboration. By April 2026, a stable partnership was formed allowing 22 engineers from ISFNET to participate actively. To further strengthen this framework, and to enhance quality and productivity, the partnership is designed to shift their existing project-based collaboration into a more formal and resilient alliance.
Key Areas of Cooperation
Following this partnership agreement, both companies have outlined a series of initiatives intended to commence after April 2026:
Strengthening Structures through Information Sharing and Technical Exchange
Through close information exchange with Qsol, both companies will be able to identify the necessary engineering skills and personnel swiftly. This enables prompt responses to urgent requirements and the quick provision of solutions for new challenges and projects. Qsol is also exploring the organization of study sessions, aimed at fostering technical exchanges and knowledge sharing around the evolving IT landscape.
Joint Research for Quality and Productivity Improvement
The partnership will promote standardized technical research and development between the two companies. A considerable focus will be directed towards researching productivity enhancements through AI applications, aiming for substantial improvements in operational efficiency.
Collaborative Health Management Initiatives
ISFNET has expressed its support for Qsol’s health management initiatives. Both organizations will work together on monitoring and intervention strategies for overworked employees, promoting no-overtime days, implementing smoking cessation strategies, and enhancing safety and health activities to create a better working environment for engineers.
Regular Communication Including Executive Engagement
The partnership will also involve regular meetings between top executives of both organizations, complemented by an annual partners' meeting to ensure ongoing communication and the strengthening of their relationship over time.
Future Outlook
Through this partnership, ISFNET aims to robustly support Qsol’s mid-term IT infrastructure plans focused on promoting DX (Digital Transformation) across the Kyuden Group, while also enhancing security measures company-wide. Furthermore, ISFNET's expertise in IT infrastructure will be invaluable for various projects aimed at transitioning to government cloud systems in the upcoming comprehensive administrative network.
