Celebrating the 2026 Gerber Baby: A Heartwarming Story of Love and Joy

Gerber® has proudly announced the winner of its 2026 Photo Search, with Cameron Chung from Minnesota taking the title of the Gerber Baby. His radiant smile and the touching narrative of his family's journey resonated with the theme, "Behind the Baby," which honors the devoted parents who create special moments every day.

For the first time, Gerber is also celebrating the Get'ems!® from Gerber® winner, Jolene "Joey" Rider from California. This new category recognizes children aged 3 to 5, making it a historic moment for the brand.

The Photo Search was a beautiful testament not only to the infants but also to the exceptional parents supporting them as they embrace motherhood and fatherhood. Cameron’s award-winning picture, taken after a cold walk in Minnesota, showcases not just a happy baby but encapsulates the love and effort going into raising him during those challenging early months.

Rachael Olsen, Cameron's mother, shared, "Navigating a colicky newborn and a challenging postpartum experience was incredibly tough, something many parents silently endure. But that first genuine smile from Cameron made everything worthwhile, reminding us of the happiness that comes in spite of the struggles of parenting."

Cameron, nearly one year old, is described as a delightful and giggly baby, bringing immense joy to his parents, Rachael and Alden. The winning photograph serves as a significant milestone in their evolving journey as parents.

Oscar Benítez, President of Gerber, reflected on the company's decades-long commitment to support families: "As Gerber turns 100, we continue to recognize the beauty in the ordinary challenges of child-rearing. This year’s focus on the parents underscores the profound yet often overlooked responsibilities that come with raising a family. Cameron’s story embodies the essence of pure joy, reinforcing that even in imperfect moments, there is so much to celebrate. We are thrilled to welcome Cameron and his family to the Gerber community."

Alden Chung, Cameron's father, expressed their excitement: "Having Cameron crowned as the Gerber Baby is a dream fulfilled. We’re eager to share his joyful smile broadly, showcasing that joy lies within the ordinary moments of parenthood. It’s a privilege to be part of a legacy that honors both the children and the dedicated parents behind them."

As part of their role as the 2026 Gerber Baby, Cameron and his parents will collaborate with Gerber, promoting the brand’s mission to nourish families as their little ones grow. Throughout the year, they will appear in various marketing campaigns and across Gerber's social media platforms, all while being awarded $50,000 and a unique Gerber® Childrenswear wardrobe valued at $2,000.

In addition to celebrating Cameron, Gerber announces Jolene "Joey" Rider, along with her parents Eileen and Joe Rider, as the first-ever Get'ems! winner, receiving a $10,000 prize and a wardrobe valued at $500 from Gerber.
