On May 16, 2025, the rock band batta, founded in 2009, will take to the stage for their first one-man live concert in three and a half years, aptly titled 'REBORN.' The venue for this exciting event will be the familiar Shimokitazawa CLUB Que, where they have held previous concerts.

Recently, the band has gone through numerous transformations, shifting members frequently and focusing on solo endeavors. However, vocalist and guitarist Hoshino Tatsu has gathered a new lineup to take the stage and has built anticipation for the event. With less than three weeks until the concert, a YouTube video entitled 'Major Announcement' was released on April 27, causing quite a stir among fans. In the video, Hoshino revealed yet another significant change: a new guitarist will be joining the band.

In an informal setting filmed in an izakaya, the announcement was, surprisingly, not as tense as one might expect for such news. Hoshino expressed his trust in the new guitarist, Shinchiro Miyama, stating, 'There’s nothing to worry about; just look forward to it.' This indicates that, for Hoshino, this change is not just another obstacle but a positive move forward.

The live concert 'REBORN' will showcase the first live performance of their complete album 'Dear Cowards,' which Hoshino has crafted single-handedly, playing drums, bass, and guitar and even overseeing the mixing. Attendees can also look forward to performances of some of the band’s well-known hits.

Prior to the recent lineup change, batta had already created event-exclusive T-shirts, which Hoshino has taken the initiative to redesign himself. He reveals that the shirts reflect a punk vibe born from trial and error, piquing fans' curiosity regarding their final look.

Hints have also emerged about potential new songs, promising a night infused with the essence of the newly revamped batta.
