GLOBIS Expands Global Reach with the Launch of GLOBIS Indonesia in Jakarta

In a significant move towards global expansion, GLOBIS Corporation has announced the establishment of its Indonesian hub, PT. GLOBIS INDONESIA HUB, set to open in November 2025. This new branch marks GLOBIS’s commitment to nurturing leaders in the tech-savvy era by offering world-class educational programs. Jakarta, known for its vibrant economy and strategic location, is poised to host GLOBIS’s fifth hub in Asia and the seventh globally, following similar successful establishments in China, Singapore, Thailand, and the recently inaugurated Philippines hub.

GLOBIS’s Pre-MBA initiative aims to equip aspiring business leaders with essential skills to thrive in an increasingly competitive global landscape. As Indonesia witnesses impressive economic growth rates of around 5%, surpassing the global average, its GDP based on purchasing power parity ranks 8th worldwide. Additionally, with a population expected to reach approximately 285 million by mid-2025, Indonesia stands as the fourth most populous nation, presenting immense potential for educational and professional growth.

The establishment of GLOBIS Indonesia aligns with its strategic vision to become the number one MBA program globally for the tech-savvy era. The GLOBIS English MBA program has already seen rising interest from Indonesian students, with 16 currently enrolled, indicating a growing appetite for high-quality business education in the region. This new hub will focus on delivering a hybrid curriculum for the Pre-MBA program, incorporating both in-person and online live classes set for a 2026 launch.

The education provided through GLOBIS Indonesia will count towards the requirements for completing the GLOBIS MBA program, which has produced over 1,000 graduates from 86 countries since its inception in 2009. This embodies GLOBIS’s ongoing commitment to develop global leaders by providing advanced learning opportunities across various time zones worldwide.

Naoko Namba, a GLOBIS MBA graduate herself, has been appointed as the local leader for the new hub. With her extensive experience at the GLOBIS English MBA program office since 2019, Namba is well-positioned to enhance the hub's operations and drive its educational initiatives. In her statement, she highlighted her belief in GLOBIS education as a powerful tool for personal and career growth and expressed her dedication to fostering local community collaboration to support students in pursuing their aspirations.

Founded in 1992, GLOBIS aims to create a thriving ecosystem of people, capital, and knowledge conducive to social innovation and transformation. Alongside its MBA programs, GLOBIS offers corporate education, e-learning services, and venture capital, actively contributing to the leaders’ development across various sectors. The organization also engages in activities promoting social change through collaborative conferences and disaster recovery initiatives, exemplifying its holistic approach to education and community engagement.

With the opening of GLOBIS Indonesia, the institution not only furthers its global outreach but also reinforces its commitment to building a future generation of business leaders aligned with the dynamics of the tech-driven economy. The focus will remain on cultivating skills that are essential for success in today’s fast-evolving marketplace, ensuring that local talents receive the unparalleled leadership training GLOBIS is renowned for.

As GLOBIS continues to expand its educational footprint, it sets a clear path toward fostering creativity and innovation among businesspersons worldwide, staying true to its vision of shaping a more dynamic and transformative society that meets the demands of the future.
