NexPhase Capital Invests in EVERYWHERE Communications

NexPhase Capital, LP, a private equity firm driven by thematic and operational strategies, has officially announced its latest investment in EVERYWHERE Communications. This investment aims to bolster a mission-critical software platform designed to facilitate better connections, protection, and coordination of distributed teams for both government and enterprise sectors.

Founded in 2016 with its headquarters in Annapolis, Maryland, EVERYWHERE Communications specializes in offering essential tools that ensure real-time visibility and comprehensive operational coherence across some of the world’s most complex environments. The EVERYWHERE Platform incorporates a variety of features, including resilient connectivity via satellite, cellular, and Wi-Fi networks, alongside capabilities for messaging, location monitoring, automated safety protocols, geofencing, emergency frameworks, and actionable geospatial intelligence.

This strategic investment emphasizes the growing demand for reliable communication tools that provide organizations with real-time insights for better decision-making without the necessity of manual intervention by personnel on the ground. EVERYWHERE currently supports a diverse clientele operating in critical sectors like government, mining, utilities, oil and gas, and humanitarian assistance, spanning over 175 countries.

Bob Gartland, a Partner at NexPhase, underscored the unique positioning of the EVERYWHERE platform at the juncture of critical communication, workforce safety, and operational intelligence. He highlighted the escalating need for organizations to have dependable communication and visibility that empowers informed leadership during times of crisis.

Patrick Shay, the Founder and CEO of EVERYWHERE, shared his enthusiasm regarding the investment, stating, "This partnership will allow us to maintain our momentum while dedicating ourselves to our mission of connecting, protecting, and coordinating our users wherever they are. The expertise of the NexPhase team in scaling tech enterprises makes them an ideal partner for us."

Jake Bailey, President of EVERYWHERE, elaborated on the strategic direction, conveying that reliable connectivity is integral to advancing their operational efficiency. He noted, "Our customers are increasingly interested in understanding their operations and identifying emerging risks proactively, without having to rely on field personnel to relay critical information. This collaboration will provide the resources we need to enhance our platform and facilitate automated safety workflows that empower our users with greater insight and faster decision-making capabilities."

As the transaction concludes, EVERYWHERE is set to remain under its existing management team, ensuring continuity in its operations while focusing on future innovations and enhancing its market competence. Legal advisory for NexPhase was provided by Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, while Baird served as the exclusive financial advisor to EVERYWHERE, with legal consultancy provided by DLA Piper LLP.

The investment not only marks a significant milestone for EVERYWHERE, but also illustrates NexPhase's commitment to investing in entities that have reached critical growth phases, needing a strategic partner to navigate their developmental journey effectively. With approximately $2.6 billion in managed capital and over 100 investments to date, NexPhase is well-established in the market, focusing on healthcare, software, and consumer sectors, specifically those poised for growth and efficiency.

As both companies work in tandem to enhance EVERYWHERE's platform capabilities, the broader impacts of this investment are expected to stimulate growth not only for EVERYWHERE Communications but also for the numerous organizations relying on their innovative solution.
