Discover the Exciting Summer 1-Day Programming Courses at TETRA UP!
TETRA UP, a programming school designed for ages ranging from 3 years to adults, run by Knocknote, is excited to announce the start of reservations for its Summer 1-Day Programming event. This event will take place from July 26 to August 31, 2025, offering learners of all ages an exceptional opportunity to explore the world of programming in a fun and engaging manner.
Overview of the Courses
Each course allows students to complete a project in just one day (approximately 3 hours), bringing immense joy to both the learners and their parents. Upon completion, students can take home their finished projects, which adds to the excitement of the learning experience. All necessary materials will be provided by TETRA UP, ensuring participants won’t have to bring anything from home on the day of the event.
Course Offerings
- - micro:bit Scratch Course
In this course, participants will utilize the educational microcontroller board,
micro:bit, to create a controller for a game using Scratch. Scratch is a visual programming tool aimed at children, which allows users to intuitively combine blocks to program. Students will develop an original battle game where they navigate dungeons to rescue a princess. This course is perfect for elementary school students in lower grades.
This course will guide students in using
micro:bit coupled with the game engine
Unity, widely recognized for its use in applications like Pokémon Go. Participants will design a 3D maze game, learning how to escape from enemies while aiming towards the goal. This immersive experience will also cover how to process inputs from the microcontroller while employing the programming language
C#. This course is suitable for upper elementary to middle school students.
Leveraging the compact educational board
Studuino mini, students will create their very own digital clock, discovering how everyday mechanisms operate through programming. Participants will experience programming with blocks, making this course ideal for beginners. These hands-on activities promote engagement and understanding.
Students will use
micro:bit along with Arduino-compatible microcontrollers to design an auto-driving programming car. They will assemble motors and gears for the driving mechanisms and will program circuits with ultrasonic sensors to avoid obstacles. This course enables participants to build their own moving robots while learning about sensor control and conditional branching—perfect for hands-on electronics enthusiasts.
Using
micro:bit and common electronic components, students will create their own sound-producing guitar. By building the guitar structure from cardboard and wiring aluminum tape with resistors, participants can explore how the pitch varies with touch. This course introduces programming along with electronics and music, making it an enjoyable experience for all.
