Rice is a staple food that nourishes half of the world's population daily, but its cultivation is associated with significant environmental concerns. As the most water-intensive agricultural crop, rice accounts for over 30% of global irrigation water consumption. Traditional farming practices, particularly the continual flooding of rice fields, not only enhance water usage but also lead to the emission of methane, a potent greenhouse gas contributing significantly to climate change.

Mitti Labs aims to address these pressing issues through its cutting-edge technology, which provides cost-effective and scientifically-backed methods for transitioning to alternate irrigation practices that have proven to reduce water consumption by nearly 40% and methane emissions by over 50%, without compromising crop yields.
