Reuniting with Memories: A Journey Through 'My Little Puppy'
KRAFTON Inc. has officially launched its latest PC game, 'My Little Puppy,' on November 7, 2025. This release comes from Dreamotion, a creative studio under KRAFTON, and draws inspiration from a poignant Korean proverb that expresses the idea of departed dogs welcoming their owners into the afterlife.
The Essence of 'My Little Puppy'
At its core, 'My Little Puppy' is a narrative-driven single-player adventure game that promises players a rich emotional experience. Players take on the role of Bong, a Welsh Corgi, who embarks on an adventure to reunite with their owner’s father, recently departed to the afterlife. The journey leads across various serene landscapes of the afterworld, including tranquil seas, vast deserts, and snowy mountains.
Through these explorations, players will meet other dogs and humans, each with their own unique tales of love, loss, and yearning. The game excels in depicting how connections can transcend even the boundaries of life and death.
An Emotional Resonance
Earlier this year, players received a demo version of 'My Little Puppy,' which elicited a heartfelt response. The game’s moving theme explores the reunions of beloved pets, allowing players to experience the world through the eyes of a dog. This new perspective provides a fresh take on storytelling in games, generating excitement and anticipation among the gaming community.
Developer Insights
The representative from Dreamotion shared a personal touch regarding the protagonist, Bong. They revealed that Bong was inspired by their own rescue Welsh Corgi, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge after three memorable years together. This heartfelt backstory adds authenticity and emotional weight to the narrative. The developer's mission is to offer solace and connection to players who share similar affections and memories of their beloved pets.
