ANAB Expands Its Global Footprint in Aerospace Quality Standards

The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) has announced a major expansion of its international recognition, particularly concerning aerospace quality management systems (QMS). This advancement comes following the acquisition of a new sub-scope under the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) multilateral recognition agreement (MLA) as of April 23, 2025. This recognition signifies ANAB's commitment to promoting safety and integrity within the aviation, space, and defense industries.

Accreditation is more than a bureaucratic procedure; it plays a critical role in eliminating technical trade barriers while ensuring that products and services are globally accepted.
