The roses in the garden store energy during winter and flourish into magnificent blooms each spring. Among them, the symbolic rose 'Shiki no Kaori,' known for its refreshing aroma of tea, stands out. Visitors will be treated to a sensory experience in the "Fragrant Rose Garden," featuring six different scent profiles, including Damask and Spicy roses. Meanwhile, the 'Colorful Rose Garden' dazzles with an array of reds and pinks, creating a picturesque palette that captivates every onlooker. As an added convenience, the garden extends its opening hours to 6 PM during the festival, allowing ample time for leisurely strolls.

Events and Celebrations

In addition to the vibrant floral display, the festival will include a variety of exciting events designed to engage and entertain visitors. On May 2nd, a commemorative ceremony will take place featuring a rose exchange with Maebashi City's Shikishima Park. It will highlight the symbolic bond between the two locations, showcasing 'Akagi no Kagayaki' from Maebashi alongside 'Shiki no Kaori.' Garden enthusiasts can also look forward to a talk show presented by past chief gardeners who will reflect on the garden's history.

Daily guided tours will be led by expert gardeners from Daiichi Engei, who will share insights about the roses in bloom.
