On September 19, 2025, Barneys Japan, led by CEO Penny Luo, will unveil the revitalized Barneys New York Ginza flagship store, redefining the luxury shopping experience in Tokyo. As part of the celebration, a lavish photo call ceremony occurred on September 17, attended by renowned figures including Yuu Yamada, Youko Kubozuka, Aya Asahina, Shuntaro Yanagi, and Anna Umemiya, among others. This event marked the start of a new chapter for Barneys Ginza, aligning with the concept of 'Memory and Creation,' highlighting the brand's dedication to a unique and enriching shopping environment.

This major renovation is the first of its kind since the store's inception, designed to blend Barneys New York’s storied legacy with fresh experiences. The revamped store features a new layout and offers exclusive items and brands focused on enhancing the daily lives of its visitors.

The remodel introduces four distinct concept areas within the store:
1. UNION SQUARE - A pop-up space hosting collaborations with various brands and artists.
2. SOHO COLLECTION - A showcase for high-quality lifestyle products.
