Chura Cucule Guesthouse, located in Ishigaki Island and operated by Shimada Group’s Time Arrow Yaeyama Co., has announced an exciting campaign to commemorate its 10th anniversary. This milestone highlights the guesthouse's dedication to providing memorable experiences since its opening on October 9, 2026.

Starting from July 9, 2026, the guesthouse will launch a special novelty campaign, thanking its patrons for their support. Guests will have the opportunity to accumulate points by staying or posting on Instagram, which they can redeem for delightful original goods and breakfast vouchers for the sister hotel, Ishigaki Island Hotel Kukuru.

A Heartfelt Campaign: "Kukuru" (Heart)

The term "Kukuru" means "heart" in Okinawan dialect, symbolizing the guesthouse's dedication to guest satisfaction over the past decade. This campaign aims to express gratitude and enhance future travel experiences for patrons. The first event, a photo contest titled "#YourIshigakiIsland," allowed participants to share images capturing cherished moments on the island, whether related to travel, local interactions, or everyday scenery.

The awareness for the campaign continues with the second phase, including an exhibition of entries from the photo contest across two venues titled "#YourIshigakiIsland.'' This initiative reflects the guesthouse's commitment to connecting with the local community and culture.

Running from mid-July 2026 until September 30, 2027, the excitement builds as guests can accumulate points and possibly receive enchanting merchandise that enrich their travels.

How Points Work

Guests can enjoy a maximum of 4 points per stay through various engaging options:
1. Stays: Guests earn 1 point for a single night, with a cap of 3 points for extended stays.
2. Instagram Posts: Guests sharing their experiences using the hashtag "#ChuraCuculeIshigaki" can earn an extra point, with a limit of one point per visit.
