Revolutionary eDisplay Curtain by PHOMI Captivates Attention at Canton Fair

At the 138th Canton Fair, PHOMI unveiled its groundbreaking product, the eDisplay Curtain, which has quickly become the star of the event, winning both Gold and Silver awards for its innovative design in 2025. This revolutionary technology not only redefines construction materials but also embodies an eco-conscious approach by converting construction waste into building finishes with zero carbon emissions. The eDisplay Curtain ingeniously displays dynamic information, moving away from traditional signage to a more integrated and visually striking solution.

The eDisplay Curtain utilizes a blend of recycled materials including residue powder and stone cutting scraps, showcasing PHOMI’s commitment to sustainability. A distinctive feature of the product is its ability to effectively conduct light through microscopic optical channels, resulting in sharp and clear video output. A jury member from the Innovative Design Awards commented, "Integrating informational communication into building facades instead of traditional display boards is a brilliant idea. PHOMI’s eDisplay Curtain redefines our understanding of buildings, our interaction with them, and the urban spaces we inhabit."

This innovative technology has already received international accolades, including prestigious gold medals in France and Nuremberg, and other awards in Geneva. It plays a significant role in promoting low-carbon initiatives in various projects across the Middle East, including the new digital city in Saudi Arabia and Oman’s zero-carbon community.

Visitors at the fair were treated to a life-sized dynamic zero-carbon curtain wall model at the eco-friendly building materials pavilion in Hall 13.2. This astonishing display allows attendees to explore its live content through a dedicated mobile application.

PHOMI also showcased other innovative products such as the eCovering Marble series, a Class A fire resistant solution that caters to curved facades. According to a purchasing manager at the Canton Fair, “Beyond material improvements, this innovation redefines the interaction between buildings and information. It brings urban infrastructures into co-creation, which is essential for the swift progress of developing countries.”

Furthermore, on the first day of the fair, PHOMI announced collaborations with several European and Middle Eastern construction firms that signed letters of cooperation. The team is dedicated to progressively licensing this technology to help establish a global standard for zero-emission construction materials. PHOMI’s journey started in 2008 with a focus on research and development, manufacturing, and selling cutting-edge, carbon-neutral materials. By blending modern digital technologies with traditional craftsmanship, PHOMI creates environmentally friendly and sustainable materials that inspire human connectivity within living spaces.

With the growing trend of integrating technology into the built environment, PHOMI’s eDisplay Curtain stands out as a potential game-changer in the construction sector. Its multifunctionality not only enhances aesthetic appeal but is also tied to the global movement towards smart cities and sustainable urban environments. As cities worldwide seek to lower their carbon footprints, innovations like the eDisplay Curtain will play a critical role in building the future. PHOMI seems poised to set a new benchmark in eco-friendly construction solutions that are both functional and visually compelling.
