Recently, the company announced that it has donated a total of 24.15 million yen ($220,000) to several organizations dedicated to aiding children globally, supporting disaster-affected areas, and conserving marine environments as part of its shareholder gift catalog for the fiscal year 2024.

Donation Details


On March 31, 2026, MOL confirmed that it would make contributions to:
1. UNICEF Japan - Supporting children around the world (UNICEF Japan Website)
2. Peace Winds Japan - Providing assistance to areas affected by disasters and conflicts (Peace Winds Japan Website)
3. WWF Japan - Involved in environmental conservation efforts including those of the seas (WWF Japan Website)
4. Ishikawa Prefecture - Utilizing corporate hometown tax donations for the ‘Noto Entrepreneurship Challenge Project’ featuring a container house for long-term stays (Noto Project)

With 8,050 donation entries (each valued at 3,000 yen), this initiative demonstrates MOL’s corporate philosophy which aims to support people's daily lives and opens up a prosperous future from the blue sea. The company adheres to a set of ethical guidelines that prioritize responsibility in addressing societal challenges.
