HAMLET: A Psychological Journey

Kicking off the season, HAMLET offers a profound and haunting experience that delves into the psyche of a college student returning to her hometown after her father's unexplained death. This immersive production, set in the intimate confines of the Center for Contemporary Arts gallery, provides a unique twist on Shakespeare's classic by transforming ordinary locations—such as corners, hallways, and even bathroom stalls—into scenes that evoke a spiritual and psychological thriller.

Here, audience members will witness the compelling selection of Bathsheba, a woman foretold to bear the divine child of peace, amid a backdrop filled with themes of control and faith.

Integrating live music, food, and a dynamic atmosphere of surveillance—including cameras and live feeds—the production is tailored to immerse 25 participants into a narrative combining elements of rebellion and psychological thriller. Actor Cassady McClinley summed up the experience with enthusiasm, stating, “It was perfectly beautiful and fked up, and I loved it.” This captivating show runs from November 6 to December 7, 2025**, and is also geared towards a mature audience, lasting approximately 90 minutes.
