WIRobotics Launches Innovative Wearable Robot at CES 2026 Unveiled

WIRobotics to Showcase its Next-Generation Wearable Walking-Assist Robot at CES 2026

WIRobotics, a prominent player in global robotics technology, is set to captivate audiences at the CES 2026 Unveiled event, presenting its much-anticipated wearable walking-assist robot, WIM S. Scheduled for January 4 in Las Vegas, this inaugural demonstration promises an interactive experience where attendees can don the device themselves, walking through various scenarios to truly appreciate its enhanced functionalities.

The WIM S, which was initially launched in South Korea in 2025, is designed to assist individuals requiring mobility support—including the elderly, those with limited mobility, and workers needing endurance or musculoskeletal assistance. Attendees will experience firsthand the significant upgrades this model offers, including a compact design aimed at improving comfort and portability.

WIRobotics has a history of recognition within the industry, having received CES Innovation Awards for three consecutive years. These accolades include categories such as Robotics, Accessibility, and Aging Tech, reflecting the company’s commitment to developing innovative solutions for diverse user needs. The previous model, WIM KIDS, tailored for children, also received widespread acclaim.

The WIM series, which is becoming increasingly popular worldwide—including in regions like Mainland China, Japan, Italy, and the Netherlands—highlights WIRobotics' expansive reach and commitment to accessibility. The WIM S model offers unique features, allowing users to switch between four walking modes: Air, Hiking, Care, and Aqua. This flexibility permits users to adapt the device to various activities, from leisurely strolls to physically demanding exercises.

During CES 2026 Unveiled, WIRobotics will host interactive sessions where participants can experience the WIM S in action—engaging directly with the technology that could redefine mobility assistance. The event runs from 4 PM to 7 PM PT at the Mandalay Bay Level 2, Shoreline Exhibit Hall, followed by its main exhibition at the Venetian Expo (Booth #54735).

Yeonbaek Lee, Co-CEO of WIRobotics, emphasizes the significance of this unveiling, stating, "CES Unveiled is where global media first encounter breakthrough technologies that signal the direction of the year ahead. The fully re-engineered WIM S and the CES debut of our upper-body humanoid robot, ALLEX, illustrate a transformational moment for robotic technology. We aim to lead in developing an era where each individual can benefit from a dedicated robotic assistant."

WIRobotics is not just about innovation; it interlaces human-centered designs with cutting-edge engineering to improve everyday life. As the company prepares for its live showcase, the excitement surrounding the WIM S represents a pivotal step toward enhancing human mobility through robotics.
