PSO2 New Genesis ver.2 Updates

SEGA has announced exciting updates for their popular online RPG, PSO2 New Genesis ver.2 (NGS ver.2), that bring new content and challenges for players. As of May 7, 2025, players can dive into the limited-time emergency quest "Fate of the Stars D.2" and a new AC scratch ticket event titled "Fantastic Symphony."

Limited-Time Emergency Quest: Fate of the Stars D.2

The latest emergency quest, active from May 7 to May 21, 2025, features the return of the upgraded quest "Fate of the Stars D.2." In this quest, players team up in groups of eight to take on the formidable Dark Falz, which offers a more accessible difficulty compared to previous missions.

As players traverse the quest, they have the opportunity to acquire legendary weapons from the "Leges" series, along with valuable drops like the special ability capsule "C/Stra-Septer." This capsule is essential for creating powerful abilities such as "C/Masisdoredo Keeper II," which may also drop directly during the quest.

In addition to the quest itself, new limited-time tasks will be introduced, rewarding diligent players with the "Reward Box Medal - Soraus." This box offers great items, including Star Gems, Beta Reactors, and scratch tickets, mirroring the rewards available in the ongoing “Super Reward Box - Aegis.” Completing the full pull from this box grants players exclusive accessories, enhancing the thrill of participation.

New Quest: Simulation Drills – Two Route Strategy

Alongside the aforementioned quest, a brand-new limited-time quest named “Simulation Drill: Double Route Strategy” will be available from May 7 to May 14, 2025. This exciting quest allows for a maximum of 12 players to participate, who will split up into two groups to embark on separate quest routes.

Unique mechanics within this quest encourage collaboration between the two teams, making tactical communication essential. By understanding the conditions and situations in each route, players can strategically approach enemy encounters and improve their chances of success.

Additional titles and limited-time tasks will also be added. Players can achieve these tasks to earn accolades like the "N-Special Ability Transfer Pass Supplement" and the "Super Star Festival '25 SP Scratch Ticket."

New AC Scratch: Fantastic Symphony

The new AC scratch ticket, "Fantastic Symphony," is scheduled to run from May 7 to June 4, 2025. This AC scratch is inspired by elvish fantasy and magical themes, featuring beautifully designed costumes and weapon camouflage that depict wands and bows.

As part of the recurring bonus scheme, players can also find alternative versions of motion change items within the scratch prize pool, including the "Refele's Long Staff EX" for waiting and gliding animations, further enhancing the customization options for players.
