Celebrating One Year of PopPowerProject: A Party and Symposium in Tokyo

Celebrating One Year of PopPowerProject

On May 7, 2026, the PopPowerProject (PPP) will host a special celebration marking its one-year anniversary at Tokyo's Takeshiba. This exciting event, dubbed "PPP: PopPowerParty," is set to bring together a diverse community of professionals who are passionate about pop culture, seeking to revitalize and globalize various sectors including manga, anime, games, and music.

PPP aims to bridge various genres within pop culture and foster collaborations with technology and other industries. The project has become a vital platform for those in Japan's entertainment and content sectors to connect, share ideas, and work towards cultural and industrial growth. This milestone gathering will welcome those who have supported and expressed interest in PPP, facilitating dialogue and networking opportunities among stakeholders from different backgrounds, including academia, industry, and government.

In conjunction with the party, there will be a symposium titled "Considering Japan's 'New' Strategy for Global Content through the Lens of Korean Success", focusing on the evolution of Korean content and its global expansion. This discussion aims to reassess the potential of Japanese content in light of changing market dynamics and explore business strategies for overseas dissemination.

Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere filled with networking opportunities, where new connections and exchanges of information can spark future collaborations.
