Hitachi Takes a Leading Role in AI Development at AGNTCon + MCPCon Japan 2026

In a significant milestone for the AI community in Japan, Hitachi has announced that Yoji Tabata, Chief OSS Consultant at Hitachi's Open Source Program Office (OSPO), has been appointed as the inaugural Ambassador for the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF). Among more than 1,000 global applicants, only two were chosen from Japan to represent the community at this prestigious role.

Tabata will deliver a keynote address during the first-ever AGNTCon + MCPCon Japan, taking place on September 10-11, 2026. His presentation will highlight the significance of participating in the Agentic AI development community and discuss how the integration of AI can accelerate business transformation.
