The project officially launched in April 2007, when current and former J-League and Nadeshiko League players, also known as 'Dream Teachers', began visiting elementary schools. They encourage children to dream big and explain the significance of striving toward those dreams.

The underlying goal of the project is to reach as many children as possible with the 'Dream Classroom', establishing a sustainable framework supported by numerous contributors.
