Hard Rock International and Shakira Team Up for Women Empowerment
In a groundbreaking announcement, Hard Rock International and global superstar Shakira revealed a year-long initiative aimed at empowering women worldwide. The collaboration, which coincides with International Women's Day celebrations on March 8, emphasizes the importance of women sharing their stories, being true to themselves, and connecting through the unifying energy of music.
As part of the initiative, Hard Rock International will host 1,000 women-led performances throughout March, in honor of International Women’s Month. These events aim to raise funds for various women's organizations, including the Pies Descalzos Foundation, a nonprofit founded by Shakira to support the education and social development of girls in vulnerable communities across Colombia. Additionally, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation has pledged $250,000 to support this vital cause.
Shakira expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “I am thrilled to work with Hard Rock, an organization with an incredible history of uplifting women through the power of music.
