Limited-Time Campaign for Women to Join Public Matchmaking Service 'Shoukai-Kon' Launched

Empowering Women: The 'Shoukai-Kon' Public Matchmaking Campaign

In the context of rising living costs and natural disasters, many people are increasingly contemplating their lives and futures. It is not uncommon for individuals seeking meaningful companionship to yearn for a partner to share their journey with. Responding to this need, the Japan Marriage Support Association, based in Minato, Tokyo, recently announced a special membership campaign for its public matchmaking service, 'Shoukai-Kon.'

A Campaign Designed for Single Women

From now until September 30, 2026, single women aged 23 to 50 can take advantage of this limited-time campaign, which offers either a free introductory meeting fee or a complimentary profile photo shoot for new registrants. This initiative aims to support women looking to start their journey in finding love at their own pace.

Matchmaking Tailored for Individual Comfort

Unlike typical dating apps or large events that may feel overwhelming, 'Shoukai-Kon' focuses on providing a more intimate experience. This service is designed for individuals who are serious about marriage and wish to meet other vetted single members in one-on-one settings. Participants can review profiles with photographs beforehand and meet only if both parties express mutual interest. This structured approach allows individuals to connect on a deeper level without the pressure of juggling multiple potential matches.

Choose Your Preferred Reward

Upon registration during the campaign period, participants can choose one of the following benefits:
1. Free Meeting Set-up Fee: The usual fee of ¥3,000 for a successful meeting is waived until the end of October 2026. (Note: Online meetings are not included.)
2. Complimentary Profile Photo Shoot: Normally priced at ¥5,000, this service is offered for free to help participants enhance their profiles.
