Nurturing Career Awareness: DOMINISTA CHALLENGE Program for Middle Schoolers
In a bid to foster career awareness among students, Kyoritsu Maintenance Corporation is set to hold the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE program aimed at middle school pupils from Nagano City. This program will take place at DORMY INN Nagano on September 25 and 26, 2025. It provides young participants with a closer look at the hotel industry through interactive experiences designed to spark their interest and increase their understanding of various careers.
What is the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE?
Launched in 2019, the DOMINISTA CHALLENGE is a career experience initiative offered at various DORMY INN locations across Japan. Tailored for middle and high school students, the program emphasizes critical skills such as customer service, cleaning, room preparation, and understanding of hotel operations. Through practical tasks, students can interact with visitors and appreciate the importance of contributing to the community, thereby cultivating a sense of career awareness and local attachment.
In a globalized world where students frequently engage with diverse cultural backgrounds, this career experience within a hotel setting offers a dynamic learning environment. To date, over 60 schools have participated in this educational journey, including seven from the Koshinetsu area, underscoring its significance in career education.
