As the summer fútbol season approaches, Sedano's Supermarkets, the leading Hispanic grocery chain in the U.S., is excited to announce the launch of its latest marketing campaign, "Where Superstitions Are Born." This campaign is set to highlight the unique traditions, foods, and rituals that bring fans together, just in time for one of the biggest soccer celebrations in the world.

Miami, known for its vibrant culture and diverse community, is gearing up to host a variety of international soccer matches this summer. Understanding the significance of these events, Sedano’s aims to establish itself as the go-to supermarket for fans looking to celebrate with loved ones at home. The new campaign creatively underscores the deep-rooted superstitions of soccer fans, aiming to engage customers through humor and relatability.

Celebrating Fútbol with Food & Tradition


Central to the campaign is the recognition that fútbol fans often embrace superstitions as part of their match-day experience. Whether it’s donning a lucky jersey or serving specific snacks, these rituals add to the thrill of the game. Sedano’s is proud to feature products from beloved brands such as Bauducco®, Coca-Cola®, and Totino's® throughout the campaign, ensuring fans have everything they need to enjoy the matches.

The campaign will be fully integrated across various platforms, including television, radio, social media, and digital initiatives, accompanied by local activations in South Florida. To further connect with the community, Sedano’s has teamed up with Actualidad Radio’s popular "Golazo" program to organize a series of fan celebrations in stores, running through June and July.

In-store Engagement and Activities


These family-oriented events will provide a platform for live radio broadcasts, soccer-themed games, food sampling, beverage tastings, and exciting giveaways. Notably, attendees aged 21 and over will have the chance to win tickets to a FIFA World Cup 2026™ match in Miami, courtesy of Stella Artois, which is sponsoring the events at participating Sedano’s locations.

Additional prizes will include Stella Artois merchandise, soccer jerseys, gift cards from Sedano's, and other branded items. The goal of these activities is to foster community interaction and celebrate the spirit of soccer, enriching the cultural significance surrounding the sport.
