Calbee's Potato Fan Meeting: A Celebration for Potato Lovers

Calbee Inc. and Calbee Potato Co. are thrilled to announce the upcoming Potato Fan Meeting in Tokyo, scheduled for October 24, 2026. This event invites all potato enthusiasts to gather at the Calbee headquarters for an unforgettable day dedicated to everything potato!

The fan meeting is the next step following last year's successful collaboration held in Hokkaido, where fans tasted various potato varieties. Attendees can look forward to an engaging itinerary filled with exciting activities, including:

• - Introduction to Calbee Potato products
• - Potato variety tastings and exclusive Calbee Potato product samplings
• - A fun-filled potato quiz competition
• - A potato picking experience

The initiative is part of Calbee's broader Fan With! Project, which commenced in 2024 with the aim of connecting more closely with their loyal fan base. The project has expanded to include events at 17 locations nationwide and even held an event in Hong Kong, reaching over 1,000 fans and approximately 700 employees so far.

Last year's fan meeting in 2025 earned an impressive average satisfaction score of 4.94 out of 5. Post-event surveys indicated that attendees increased their purchasing of Calbee products by an impressive 153% on average. This engagement has not only strengthened customer loyalty but also boosted morale among Calbee employees, scoring an average of 4.8 out of 5 in motivation.

With the overwhelming success of the previous events, the 2026 fan meeting will continue the trend of showcasing Calbee Potato Chips, alongside various factory and farmland events planned throughout the year. This year, about 14 events will be hosted, emphasizing Calbee's dedication to bringing fans into their world.

How to Join

To participate in this exciting event, enthusiasts can apply through the Calbee Ruby Program app. Applicants can earn rubies (points) by submitting a photo of a specifically folded empty package from participating Calbee products. With 500 rubies, fans can enter for a chance to attend the meeting. Up to two participants from the same application are welcome, and there's no limit on applications during the campaign.
