From July 18 to 20, 2026, Gakken is hosting a special event, "Block-Loaded! Dream New Block World" at Aeon Mall Urawa Misono in Saitama City. This celebration marks the 60th anniversary of Gakken's New Block, and it's a perfect opportunity for families with young children to dive into an exciting sea of colorful blocks.

Dive Into the Fun with 20,000 Blocks!

This event enables children to engage with approximately 20,000 enormous blocks in a giant block pool. The experience promises to be exhilarating as kids play and create to their heart's content. Plus, there's also a chance to create your very own remote-controlled car using the "Gakken New Block Dream Remote Control Car" kit, combining creativity and technology in a fun way.

Additionally, children can join in the fun on a massive diorama roller coaster built using the Gakken New Block Rolling Q series, where balls roll endlessly on a roller coaster-like track. These engaging activities are crafted to fuel their imagination and skills.

Exclusive Pop-Up Store with Unique Parts

Not only will children enjoy playing, but they'll also have a chance to purchase exclusive block parts that cannot be found anywhere else, such as dinosaur pieces, tire components, and special parts for the Shinkansen. At the pop-up store, these rare parts will be available for sale, making it a must-visit destination for enthusiastic builders.

The event will be free of charge for all attendees, with the playground area operating on a ticketing system—every 40 minutes, participants will have a chance to rotate into the block pool. Admission tickets will be distributed starting at 10:00 a.m. each day in front of the venue. Attendees can choose their desired time slot at the same time.
