LOTTA's 'DOWN THE ALLEYWAY': A Unique Art Exhibition
The enchanting world of contemporary artist LOTTA is set to captivate art enthusiasts with her upcoming solo exhibition titled "DOWN THE ALLEYWAY". This event will take place at Barneys New York's Ginza flagship store from February 25 to March 15, 2026. Known for her evocative monochrome aesthetics that blend nostalgia with modern street art, LOTTA's works promise to ignite the imagination of all who view them.
A Journey Through Imagination
LOTTA's artistic world is illuminated by the presence of her original character, the ghost cat named SOCKS. Each piece features a rich narrative that encourages viewers to conjure their own stories. This exhibition will showcase entirely new works, all created specifically for this event. Alongside the artwork, a limited number of LOTTA’s giclee prints and sets that include plates and mugs will also be available for purchase, making this a unique opportunity to own a piece of her artistry.
In her own words, LOTTA describes her fascination with alleys:
>“Alleys are thrilling. Even during the day, they can seem dim, harboring unseen mysteries. The graffiti left on walls, the tags, and the layers of stickers may reveal the history and stories of unknown individuals.”
With her new creations, LOTTA hopes to capture the charm of these hidden spaces, showcasing her spray-painted works that breathe life into the unvisited corners of the urban environment.
