Funding Secured for MILY's Life Design Community Initiative

The company behind the life design community, MILY, has successfully conducted a fundraising round through a third-party allocation to POLA ORBIS CAPITAL and several angel investors. The funds will be utilized for developing and operating services for members, expanding content, and strengthening support systems. These efforts aim to enhance the environment for each member in choosing their ideal partner.

The Background of MILY Club

MILY was founded with the vision of creating a society that values family, aiming for significant societal changes by 2025. The CEO, Atsumi Murata, has gleaned valuable insights over the past decade from running a couple and family photography service, Lovegraph, along with her personal experiences of marriage and childbirth. She understands how crucial it is to approach partnerships strategically, emphasizing life design that is in tune with one's values.

In recent years, life design has gained attention, particularly in light of Japan's declining birthrate, with both the national and local governments recognizing its importance. While opportunities to learn about career and finance are on the rise, comprehensively navigating life goals—including relationships, marriage, and childbirth—remains insufficiently addressed.

With this funding round, MILY will embark on a more structured management of the MILY club, enhancing the community dedicated to supporting members in their choice of partners.

What is the MILY Club?

The MILY Club is a membership-based life design community promoting the concept of “Being the person you love with the person you love.” It encourages members to think about partner selection based on a reverse calculation from their envisioned ideal life.

To this end, the community facilitates opportunities for individuals to connect, focusing on personal growth and building partnerships through original content, one-on-one sessions, workshops, and small real-world events. Unlike traditional matching services that primarily focus on introductions, the MILY Club emphasizes a holistic approach—supporting members through moments of introspection, ideal partner envisioning, and relationship building.

The original content and one-on-one sessions will be supervised and conducted by clinical psychologist and couple therapist, Arisaki Yoshida, who brings a wealth of expertise to guide members.
