In an exciting development for food enthusiasts, the inaugural list of North America's 50 Best Restaurants is set to be revealed on September 25, 2025, at the illustrious Wynn Las Vegas. Sponsored by renowned brands S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, this event marks a significant milestone in the culinary world, as it will be the first time that a dedicated ranking for North America will be unveiled by the prestigious 50 Best organization.

William Drew, the Content Director for North America's 50 Best Restaurants, expressed his enthusiasm about choosing Las Vegas as the venue. The awards will gather top culinary talents from across North America, culminating in the announcement of the Best Restaurant in North America. Leading up to the main event, there will be several special announcements including the Champions of Change Award, the Art of Hospitality Award, and the One To Watch Award. Additionally, special prizes will be presented that honor the achievements of individuals and institutions within the culinary sphere.

The rankings will be determined through the insights of 300 expert voters, which include chefs, food and beverage professionals, gastronomy journalists, educators, and seasoned gourmets. These anonymous voters are handpicked by Academy Chairs from various sectors across eight subregions of North America, including the Northeast, South, Midwest, and West of the United States, as well as Eastern, Central, and Western Canada, alongside the Caribbean (excluding Cuba and the Dominican Republic). Notably, members of the 50 Best organization and sponsors will not participate in voting.

The event schedule for North America's 50 Best Restaurants will feature key events like #50BestTalks, which is a thought leadership forum focusing on relevant topics in hospitality; a press conference discussing insights about the 50 Best with industry leaders; a Chefs' Feast celebrating exquisite ingredients and culinary techniques; and the awards ceremony complete with a countdown to the winners.
