With an impressive background, Dr. Oleksiw is currently the Managing Principal of Measured Transitions and serves as an Associate Professor of Psychology at The Chicago School. Her career spans numerous years where she has successfully integrated her academic expertise with practical leadership development.
Dr. Oleksiw’s approach is uniquely tailored, equipping business leaders with essential tools for evaluating performance and implementing effective strategic initiatives. At Measured Transitions, she focuses on consulting services that revolve around performance measurement and organizational planning, facilitating the design of customized strategies that help leaders and teams assess project outcomes. In academia, Dr. Oleksiw chairs the Business Psychology Department at The Chicago School’s Dallas campus. Here, she oversees a Master's program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, as well as two doctoral programs concentrating on Organizational Leadership and Business Psychology. Her role emphasizes the cultivation of future leaders in the business landscape, promoting a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and organizational practices.
Dr. Oleksiw's educational background is rooted in her passion for understanding and enhancing human performance. She attained her BA in psychology from the University of Hartford, followed by an MA in psychology and education and an Ed.M in educational psychology with an emphasis on measurement and evaluation from Teacher's College at Columbia University. Her academic journey culminated with a Ph.D. in educational psychology, focusing specifically on measurement and evaluation from Columbia's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Dr. Oleksiw also holds an ROI skill-building certificate from the ROI Institute. Her active participation in professional organizations includes memberships in the American Psychological Association, the American Evaluation Association, the American Educational Research Association, and the International Coaching Federation, where she contributes to fostering a community of coaching excellence.
Beyond her accolades and roles, Dr. Oleksiw is dedicated to her community through pro bono work. She actively provides coaching services to veterans and their spouses via the nonprofit organization Stand Beside Them, showcasing her commitment to service and leadership beyond corporate boundaries.
Guided by the mentorship of Dr. James B. Matthews and inspired by the legacy of her parents, Michael (Babe) Oleksiw and L. Diana O'Brian, Dr. Oleksiw continues to shape the future of business psychology and executive development.
