LuminoCity Holiday Lights Festival Returns for an Enchanting Fifth Year Celebration at Eisenhower Park

LuminoCity Holiday Lights Festival: A Sparkling Fifth Year Celebration

The LuminoCity Holiday Lights Festival is set to dazzle once again at Eisenhower Park, marking its fifth anniversary with an exciting line-up of attractions. Scheduled to run from November 11, 2026, through January 3, 2027, this year's festival promises to deliver an experience that combines light, art, and holiday spirit.

Spanning an impressive 14 acres, the festival will unveil the Lumi Express, a brand new holiday train ride that will take guests through vibrant and breathtaking displays. Families can look forward to four immersive themed areas including Magical Wonderwood, Dino Safari, Holidayville, and Tundra Twilight. Each world showcases over 100 illuminated and animatronic creatures, alongside larger-than-life installations, and culminates in the awe-inspiring sight of a 40-foot Christmas tree.

New Attractions and Experiences

This year, visitors will have the chance to engage with new photo opportunities designed for families to capture special moments amid whimsical scenes. Xiaoyi Chen, founder and CEO of LuminoCity, expressed excitement about returning to Long Island where the festival has become a cherished tradition for many families:

"We've watched families make this festival part of their holiday rituals. This year, we can't wait to share new experiences with them and continue to celebrate creativity through Lumi's Utopia."

A highlight of the festival is Lumi's Utopia, a children's art initiative in collaboration with the Long Island Children's Museum. This program transforms winning drawings from the 'Dino Friends' contest into stunning handcrafted light sculptures, showcasing the artistic talents of young individuals. Additionally, Master Lantern Artisans, Huang Xingxiu and Jiang Lei, will conduct sensory-friendly demonstrations that allow guests to witness the intricate process of lantern-making.

Fun for the Whole Family

Families will have numerous activities to choose from, including bouncing on the Happy Holidays Hop, a 20-foot-tall inflatable Santa, and the fun-filled Triceratops Bounce Nest. Special appearances by Santa on select weekends, along with exclusive holiday merchandise, will add to the festive atmosphere.

The festival also introduces special theme nights, encouraging guests to dress up and enjoy live performances. Social media enthusiasts will have the chance to participate in limited-edition merchandise giveaways while supplies last, with details about themes and dates to be announced shortly.
