Little Planet Lalaport Izumi to Unveil Exciting New Attractions Post-Renovation

An Exciting Transition: Little Planet Lalaport Izumi's Renovation

Little Planet Lalaport Izumi, located in Izumi City, Osaka, embodies the concept where "play transforms into learning." This innovative theme park designed for children will undergo renovations from July 3 (Friday) to July 9 (Thursday), 2026, during which it will be temporarily closed. As of July 10 (Friday), visitors can look forward to the introduction of fresh attractions along with a revamped toy store, all aimed at delivering an enhanced indoor children's play experience infused with state-of-the-art technology.

New Attractions and Features Unveiled!

1. Transform into a Swordfighter with "SLASH HEROES"

A brand-new attraction, "SLASH HEROES," will make its debut in the Kansai area, offering an exhilarating combat experience. Participants can link their movements to characters, battling various monsters in a fully immersive environment. Leveraging motion capture technology, players will feel as if their avatars are executing stunning moves right alongside them. Special items will also be available for purchase to heighten the enjoyment. This evolving sword-fighting attraction promises to captivate both children and adults alike.

2. Enhanced Experience with "MAZEMON GENERATOR"

This popular attraction incorporates cutting-edge generative AI technology to create unique trading cards, called "MAZEMON GENERATOR." While the core feature allows visitors to mix and match “ingredients” to form monsters, a new element named the "MAZEMON COLISEUM" invites participants to join in nationwide battles among monsters generated in parks across the country. Families will delight in discovering the ever-expanding world of "MAZEMON" throughout the summer.

Please note that due to the introduction of new attractions, the digital shadow play game "SHADOW WORLD" and the digital doodling attraction "SPRAY PAINTING" will be discontinued.

3. Revamped Toy Store with Exclusive Coupons

The toy and merchandise shop adjacent to the park will undergo a significant transformation, reopening as "PLANET PORT" on July 10 (Friday). The shop will specialize in toys and character goods, curated to emphasize themes of discovery and experience. With fresh trends aimed at both kids and "kidults" (adults with a youthful spirit), the shop promises to be a trendy spot that complements the park's offerings.

In celebration of the grand opening, the first 1,000 children who enter Little Planet and who have paid for admission will receive a 500 yen coupon for use at "PLANET PORT" with purchases over 3,000 yen (limited while supplies last, and park entry tickets will not qualify for discounts).

Little Planet Lalaport Izumi is committed to evolving into a theme park where every visit offers new experiences, stimulating children’s curiosity and creativity through futuristic play.

Upcoming Summer Event: "DINO FESTIVAL with PAW PATROL"

Starting June 29 (Monday) until August 31 (Monday), Little Planet Lalaport Izumi will host a special summer event titled "Little Planet DINO FESTIVAL with PAW PATROL." Please note this event will pause during renovations from July 3 to July 9.

This annual event is a favorite among families and has been supercharged this year with a collaboration featuring the movie "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie." Children can participate in themed activities like racing with vehicles from "Paw Patrol" and exploring a mystical sandpit that reveals mountains and oceans with the help of digital technology. Exciting attractions reflecting the immersive world of the film, releasing on July 24, will be available for families nationwide.

What is the Next-Gen Theme Park, Little Planet?

By integrating traditional games like sand play and shadow puppetry with modern tech, it provides visitors with a glimpse into the "future of play."
