Empowering High School Students with Entrepreneurship Education in Tokyo's Minato Ward

Discover Your True Potential with Entrepreneurship Education

The upcoming Yume Kanaeru After School 2025 program aims to inspire and support junior and senior high school students in Tokyo's Minato Ward to explore their dreams and career paths. This engaging two-day workshop is entirely free and designed to help students translate their aspirations into actionable goals.

Event Overview

Target Audience: Students in middle and high school who can attend both days.

Capacity: Limited to 30 participants. In case of oversubscription, selection will be based on a pre-event questionnaire.

Date and Venue:

- Day 1: Online via ZOOM on Saturday, July 26th, 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM (Entrance opens at 9:45 AM)
- Day 2: Minato City Industrial Promotion Center, 10th floor, Katanotsuji Square, in-person on Saturday, August 9th, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Registration opens at 9:30 AM)

Cost: Free

Application Deadline: July 18th, 11:59 PM

Detailed Program

Day 1 Activities

1. Lecture and Worksheet Activity: Participants will learn about self-awareness and complete worksheets to reflect their interests and values.
2. 1-on-1 Mentoring: Engage in personalized discussions with university students nationwide in an online setting.
3. Group Work: Share insights gained from the 1-on-1 mentoring session in a collaborative environment.
4. Follow-Up 1-on-1 Session: For interested participants, additional one-on-one mentoring will occur with their Group Work mentor.

Day 2 Activities

1. Group Deep Dive (1-on-X): Collaboratively refine the concept of their 'ideal self' within groups.
2. Action Declaration: Each group will declare what actionable steps they can begin tomorrow to work towards their envisioned future.

For Parents

This program provides a valuable opportunity for students to converse with university students and professionals whom they wouldn't typically meet in an academic setting. With diverse perspectives, students can explore various pathways for their future and set concrete goals to fulfill their dreams. We encourage parents to support their children’s participation in this enriching experience.
