Tokyo Verdy Racing is excited to announce its participation in the third round of the JAF-sanctioned e-motorsport league, UNIZONE. This league is the only officially recognized e-motorsport tournament in Japan, where five competing teams will participate in a unique HOME & HOME format. As part of this event, the Tokyo-based team will be competing from their designated venue.

All members involved—from players and supporters to commentators and staff—are set to create an electrifying atmosphere, rallying behind Tokyo Verdy.

  • - Date: June 14 (Saturday)
  • - Time: Doors open at 5 PM, event ends at 9 PM (tentative)
  • - Location: e-Create Space AIM SASAZUKA, supported by KEIO (2-minute walk from Sasazuka Station on the Keio Line)

The event will be hosted by Mayumi Matsushita, a renowned race queen and reporter, who has extensive experience in live commentary for four-wheeled and karting races. As an expert, she will make sure that even motorsport novices can easily understand the races through her insightful commentary.

Founded in 1969, Tokyo Verdy was established with the vision of being the first professional soccer team in Japan. As society becomes increasingly diverse, Tokyo Verdy aims to develop a wide range of talent while providing various entertainment through sports. Today, the club encompasses 18 different sports under its comprehensive approach.

In the virtual realm, Tokyo Verdy was a pioneer in Japan, establishing an e-sports team in 2016, which has since participated in multiple world tournaments, producing several national and world champions across various disciplines.

Embracing new challenges, Tokyo Verdy Racing was formed to participate in the UNIZONE, the only e-motorsport league officially sanctioned by JAF, the governing body of motorsports in Japan. This team combines real racers with e-racers, pushing the boundaries of both reality and virtual racing.
