About Akiko Tanaka
Akiko Tanaka hails from Osaka and pursued her fashion education in Milan at Istituto Marangoni and Istituto Secoli. After honing her skills under some of the industry's best-known fashion editors, she gained experience in magazines and advertising. Upon returning to Japan, she brought her international expertise to Stylist roles at notable publications, eventually becoming the Senior Fashion Editor at VOGUE NIPPON. In November 2005, Tanaka was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of Numéro TOKYO and has continued to steer its vision into the present day.
Her accomplishments also include overseeing visual, web, and e-commerce initiatives for the magazine's overall identity. Tanaka is also the author of 'AKO'S FASHION BOOK,' underscoring her expertise and contributions to the field.
