PSO2 NGS ver.2: Halloween '25 Event Kicks Off!

On October 8, 2025, Sega launched an exciting limited-time event for the acclaimed game, PSO2 NGS ver.2. The Halloween '25 event is here, bringing a blend of festive decorations, thrilling quests, and exciting new gear to players.

Halloween '25 Event Details

The Halloween-themed ambiance transforms Central City, adorned with seasonal decorations, and introduces Region Mag, which takes on pumpkin-inspired designs. Players can look forward to black wings flitting about during clear weather, enhancing the playful, spooky atmosphere. Adding to the fun, special characters like Size Rappy, Triton Emperor Rappy, and Triton Greta Rappy are set to make appearances, bringing cheer to this seasonal celebration.

This event features the charming character “Shemmy,” dressed as a nun, who will serve as a guide and share intriguing insights about the enemy movements spotted in Halfa. Players are encouraged to interact with her to enhance their event experience.

Visit the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop to collect unique items, including the BP “Ossoria Bathtub,” BP “Tsuki no Usagi,” and accessories modeled after enemy weapons like the “Bujin's Katana.” The festivities don’t stop there; players can participate in the Halloween '25 special scratch, which offers powerful ability capsules and customization items as rewards.

Additionally, new limited-time tasks and title challenges will be unveiled. Completing these tasks allows players to earn items such as the “TA Custom Disk X/Unification,” “N-Master Cube,” “Arms Refiner II,” and “Halloween '25 SP Scratch Ticket.”

New Limited-Time Emergency Quest: Star Shattering White Flame

Alongside the festival, a new urgent quest titled “Star Shattering White Flame” will be available. It focuses on investigating the red realms emerging throughout Quvalis. During this quest, players will receive assistance from Faria, who acts as an operator, along with Quvalis's quintuplets aiding in quest progression.

Players will encounter new enemies, including the formidable “Agni,” known for its powerful melee attacks and aggressive armor, which bursts into flames when shed for more intense assault waves. Furthermore, the “High Gratibon” enemy has also been enhanced, showcasing a variety of attack patterns and improved parameters.

New Limited-Time Quest: Speculative Exercise: Capital City Cleansing Operations

From October 8 to October 22, a new limited-time quest called “Speculative Exercise: Capital City Cleansing Operations” will be available. This mission revamps elements from a previous challenge, allowing up to 12 players to join forces to protect a transport truck from waves of enemies using the strategic advantage of a “Giant Ice Pillar” present on the field.

New Equipment: Skill Rings

Players can also look forward to the introduction of new equipment called “Skill Rings.” These rings come in two varieties: Type 1, designed to enhance offensive capabilities, and Type 2, focused on improving defense or efficiency. By utilizing the same “Skill Ring” as material, players can further upgrade these effects.

In total, six types of Skill Rings are being released, offering unique benefits such as increased power upon defeating non-boss enemies, and effects gained from dodging or negating enemy attacks. Find the perfect combination that matches your playstyle!

Creative Space Enhancements

New build parts related to music such as BP “Grand Piano,” BP “Rhythm Guitar,” BP “Kuna Stage,” and BP “Kuna Stage B” have also been introduced for players to decorate their Creative Spaces and team areas creatively.

New AC Scratch: Monster Masquerade '25

Furthermore, the new AC scratch titled “Monster Masquerade '25” is being rolled out from October 8 to November 5. Featuring Halloween-themed costumes such as mummies, clowns, and dark sisters, these accessories add a perfect touch to the spooky season. Players can also enjoy additional versions of motion change items as part of their scratch redemption.
