RIVERSIDE CLUB Transforms into a Vibrant Music Café & Bistro

RIVERSIDE CLUB Reimagined as MUSIC CAFÉ & BISTRO

On December 1, 2025, the beloved all-day lounge in Nakameguro, known as RIVERSIDE CLUB, will unveil its new identity as RIVERSIDE CLUB MUSIC CAFÉ & BISTRO. This transformation comes with an updated atmosphere, enhanced soundscapes, exquisite cuisine, and specialized drinks, solidifying its status as a cultural hub in Nakameguro.

A Revitalized Space and Sound Experience

The interior design has undergone a complete transformation, creating a dual-purpose space that celebrates both dining and music. The dining area features comfortable stools and tables alongside captivating artwork inspired by Picasso’s ‘Guernica,’ crafted by artist madsaki. This blend of sophistication and comfort enhances the overall experience.

At the heart of this revamp is the new sound system. Custom-designed large speakers made from plywood deliver a unique, warm sound, while a state-of-the-art DJ booth equipped with the latest analog record player and CDJ sets the tone. The lounge area now embraces the charm of analog records, creating a cozy ambiance throughout the space as it operates as a music café and bistro.

Additionally, a dedicated space for listening to vinyl records has been installed, allowing guests to engage with curated selections from Nakameguro’s Adult Oriented Records while enjoying their café or bar experience.

Innovative Bistro Menu

RIVERSIDE CLUB MUSIC CAFÉ & BISTRO has crafted a bistro menu that focuses on the delicacy of each ingredient's temperature and aroma. Dishes such as smoked salmon paired with cream cheese and limited-edition terrines are served alongside fish entrees like whitefish and leeks gratin, and perfectly roasted duck breast with sherry vinegar sauce. Each plate is designed to enhance the dining conversation.

For dessert, the ‘Mont Blanc Paris-Brest’ features a perfectly baked cream puff filled with velvety custard cream and adorned with fragrant French chestnut cream, offering a sweet finish to the meal. Each dish invites guests to savor every moment during their dining experience.

Pairing Drinks with Food and Sound

The coffee program is led by Naoya Akagawa from Transit Group, showcasing a well-balanced espresso and carefully crafted filter coffee. Each cup is designed to complement the bistro dishes, achieving harmony between saltiness, acidity, and sweetness.

Moreover, the café introduces MATCHA lattes and cocktails sourced from NEKOHAMA, a Los Angeles-based matcha brand. Founded on the belief that brewing matcha creates positive habits, NEKOHAMA delivers a fresh and flavorful matcha experience, reimagined for today’s beverage and food landscape.

For wine lovers, the selection has been curated by transit group head sommelier Kota Narusawa, emphasizing natural and domestic wines to elevate the dining experience.

Strengthening Cultural Engagement with ‘THE VOICE’

To further embed its role as a cultural hub, RIVERSIDE CLUB inaugurates an art project called ‘THE VOICE’ by artist Naoko Inagaki. This initiative will feature rotating displays every three months, transforming the venue's exterior into a public canvas that provokes social dialogue among passersby. The project aims to spark conversations by projecting images and text that pose quiet yet profound questions within the urban landscape.

The first installment, ‘Let’s talk!’, encourages face-to-face communication in a time of increasing division. Through sharing thoughts and messages, this initiative fosters connections in an engaging manner.

Exciting Future Events and Merchandise

RIVERSIDE CLUB also plans to host a variety of events and pop-up activities, fostering new communities centered around music and culture. In addition, original apparel and merchandise featuring the new logo will make their debut, designed to showcase a minimalist aesthetic that complements their unique sound and culinary experiences. Stay tuned for more announcements from this vibrant space.
