The highly anticipated Gintama Character Pop-Up Store is set to launch on April 17, 2026, at the Bandai Namco Cross Store in Akihabara, Tokyo. This event will run until November 23, 2026, and promises to be a delightful experience for fans of the beloved series.

The store's theme, “Shippu Andou”, will showcase newly illustrated artwork featuring a total of six characters: Sakata Gintoki, Hijikata Toshirō, Okita Sōgo, Katsura Kotarō, Takasugi Shinsuke, and Kamui. These illustrations will be revealed over a six-month period, starting with a special event titled “Hijikata Festival”. This inaugural segment will prominently feature Hijikata Toshirō's new designs, presented alongside original sketches that showcase the artwork's evolution.

In line with the exciting new art, the event will also introduce a range of original merchandise. Some of the highlights include:
