A Dream Nurtured by Kindness

Kotone expressed her longing to work at the Peacock Store, a place she frequently visits with her mother. She treasured memories of the store’s staff, who showed her kindness during her visits. This heartfelt connection inspired her to embark on this unique experience – stepping into the shoes of a store manager.

The Day of the Experience

The special day started at 10:00 AM and ended at 4:00 PM at the Peacock Store Takayodai located in Nerima, Tokyo. The agenda for the day included:
1. Backroom Tasks: Engaging in activities such as practicing greetings, making in-store announcements, labeling products, creating promotional materials, and assisting with store broadcasts.
2. Sales Floor Operations: Getting hands-on experience with stocking shelves, operating the cash register, and providing assistance to customers.
3. Event Activities: Participating in a fun event named “Kotone Manager & Lala's Janken Tournament & Photo Session.”

Throughout the day, Kotone learned about the intricate workings that go on behind the scenes in retail, from the careful presentation of sashimi to organizing fresh fruits and vegetables from across the country. The teamwork and dedication of the staff left a lasting impression on her.
