Huawei Strengthens Partner-Focused Strategy for Enterprise Growth in Europe

Huawei has made significant strides in reinforcing its partner-centric approach, which has become the cornerstone of its enterprise segment's growth across Europe. During the annual Huawei European Partner Conference held in Como, Italy, on April 20, 2026, the company affirmed that partners play a fundamental role in its corporate strategy within the region.

Willi Song, President of Huawei Europe Enterprise Business, shared compelling insights into the importance of partners, stating, "Our partner ecosystem is the fundamental strategy for the company’s long-term growth." He highlighted that the company aims to deepen existing partnerships while actively engaging new high-potential organizations. This move is crucial as European partners account for over 90% of Huawei's revenue in the enterprise segment, driving significant growth over the past year.

Key Developments from the Conference

The conference showcased Huawei's plans to accelerate its investments in its partner strategy, further expanding cooperation and market capabilities. The company is looking to onboard more advanced (gold) and intermediate (silver) resellers while committing to substantial strategic investments that include:

  • - Training over 10,000 certified engineers
  • - Allocating over $20 million towards marketing initiatives
  • - Offering more than 90% of product services to partners, enhancing their capability to meet diverse customer needs.

Moreover, Huawei emphasized its impressive delivery capabilities, stating that 90% of its offerings can be delivered in Europe within 2 to 4 weeks, in stark contrast to other data storage products that can take up to 8 months. This positions Huawei as a competitive player in the market, particularly regarding timely product delivery, where its data storage offerings can be available within 2 months.

The Ongoing Importance of the ‘Partner + Huawei’ Strategy

Huawei is proud of its extensive network of over 5,000 partners in Europe. The company continues to witness growing transaction volumes processed through its partner network, alongside increased contributions to its overall business. To streamline solution sales and respond more effectively to customer demands, Huawei is refining its partner policies, support systems, and programs.

"We strive to build a stable win-win system and foster trust through enhanced incentive mechanisms, resource allocation, open collaboration, and co-innovation," remarked Song.

The collaboration with partners has led to the development of over 100 scenario-based solutions, underpinned by Huawei's operational efficiency in product supply, quick provisioning, end-to-end visibility, and valuable feedback mechanisms from partners.

Addressing Customer Needs through Partner Collaboration

Looking towards the future, Huawei is set to maintain its focus on the 2+2+1 strategy, driving growth that is sector-focused in critical European industries such as public services, healthcare, education, internet service providers (ISPs), manufacturing, hospitality, and retail. The company anticipates continued expansion in its enterprise sector across Europe, with a significant portion of revenue expected to be generated via partner channels.

Additionally, Huawei is enhancing its distribution practices based on the eKit 4+10+N strategy, placing a strong emphasis on collaboration with front-line partners (CFT) and strengthening incentive mechanisms. Through ongoing investments, enriched partnerships, and a joint commitment to customer-centric innovation, Huawei aims to empower its partners to achieve sustainable and profitable growth throughout Europe.
