Kudan Festival 2026: A Celebration of Lifelong Learning

Mark your calendars for March 21 and 22, as the Kudan Festival 2026 is set to take place at the Kudan Learning Center in Chiyoda City, Tokyo. This year's theme, "Focus", encapsulates the spirit of the event, encouraging participants to engage with one another's activities and reflect on their lifelong learning journeys. Aimed at fostering community involvement, the festival invites individuals from all walks of life to attend and celebrate together!

Performance Schedule

Get ready for an exciting lineup of performances scheduled over the two days:
  • - March 21 (Sat): 13:00 - 17:40
  • - March 22 (Sun): 10:00 - 17:05
Please note that performance times may change based on the progress of the event.

Expect a diverse range of performances from dance, choir, instrumental shows, tai chi, and theatrical arts, all brought to you by various local circles. Feel free to join in the excitement with clapping and cheers! For those who cannot attend in person, we will be streaming live on our official YouTube channel, so you can enjoy the festivities from home. After the event, you can also catch the recorded sessions and highlights from last year through the same channel: Kudan Learning Center YouTube.

Mini Courses: Learn and Experience

Alongside the performances, we are offering "mini courses" that capture the essence of our lifelong learning curriculum throughout the year. These sessions are designed to provide a fun and easy way to engage with various topics related to the history of Chiyoda, as well as hands-on activities for families, including crafts and outdoor experiences. The mini courses will be enjoyable for both children and adults alike, featuring an exciting variety of offerings. Some courses require pre-registration via phone or the web, and material fees may apply.
