Busch Gardens Honors Military Veterans with Free Admission This Month
Busch Gardens Honors the Brave
In a heartfelt gesture of recognition and appreciation, Busch Gardens is opening its gates to all U.S. military veterans this month. To honor their service and sacrifice, veterans and their families are invited to enjoy a complimentary admission to the park, whether they visit the Tampa or Williamsburg locations.
A Month of Celebration
This Military Appreciation Month, Busch Gardens has extended a warm invitation to veterans, offering free one-day admission for themselves and up to three guests. Veterans can register for this offer until May 10 and have until June 30 to redeem their tickets — a perfect opportunity for a day of adventure and family fun.
In case veterans want to bring more guests along, they can also receive a 50% discount on single-day tickets for up to six additional people. This initiative is part of the park's Waves of Honor program, which provides special pricing and promotions for active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families throughout the year.
Year-Round Recognition
CEO of United Parks Resorts, Marc Swanson, expressed gratitude towards those who have served, stating, "Busch Gardens extends a small token of our appreciation to those who are serving or who have served.” The program has been a success for over 25 years, allowing more than 10 million guests — active-duty members, veterans, and their families — to experience free admission through the Waves of Honor initiative.
Fun for the Whole Family
Veterans and their families can experience thrilling rides, educational animal encounters, and exciting seasonal events. Busch Gardens promises memorable experiences designed for guests of all ages, ensuring that military families can create lasting memories during their visit to the parks.
To claim their complimentary admission ticket, eligible veterans should register online at www.WavesofHonor.com by the above-stated deadline. Note that valid military ID is required to participate. Additionally, active-duty members, including those in the reserve or National Guard, can also avail of one free admission for themselves and three dependents each year.
Many Benefits to Explore
For those veterans who anticipate visiting the park more frequently, Busch Gardens has launched a new Military Silver Annual Pass available for the Tampa park, as well as a Military Membership at the Williamsburg counterpart. These passes provide unlimited admission without block-out dates for a year, complimentary admission to popular events, and several benefits that include up to 20% discounts on in-park purchases.
With Busch Gardens' commitment to honoring military service members, veterans, and their families, there’s no better time to visit these renowned parks. Guests can experience exhilarating rides, lush animal habitats, and engaging entertainment.
