This announcement marks a significant milestone in KOVE's journey as a high-end motorcycle manufacturer, emphasizing its commitment to innovation and performance.
Expanding the KOVE Range
KOVE has long been recognized for its premium motorcycles, blending cutting-edge research and development with extensive experience in international competitions. Building on established models like the 450 RALLY and 800X, the newly launched models aim to enhance KOVE's presence in rally, supersport, and electric motorcycle categories. This expansion reinforces KOVE’s position as a leader in the high-end motorcycle market in China.
The 125 RALLY and 350 RALLY
The 125 RALLY and 350 RALLY are designed with adventure riders in mind. Both bikes feature 21-inch front wheels and 18-inch rear wheels. The 125 RALLY, weighing merely 122 kg, offers a lightweight entry into adventure biking. It is ideal for those looking to explore the world of motorcycling with ease. On the other hand, the 350 RALLY is powered by a robust 349.9 cc engine and is equipped with a 21-liter fuel tank. It features long-travel suspension tailored for lengthy journeys, counterweights to minimize vibrations, and a dry-sump lubrication system suitable for demanding terrains.
The High-Performance 650RR
At the heart of the 650RR is a newly developed 645 cc four-cylinder engine, equipped with electronic throttle control, which produces 80 kW at 13,000 RPM and 60 Nm at 11,000 RPM for an exhilarating ride. The bike's design incorporates a high-strength double-cradle frame and an aluminum subframe, complemented by advanced features such as a six-axis inertial measurement unit, a bi-directional quick shifter, and cornering ABS. These technologies ensure exceptional performance, chassis stability, and advanced electronic control.
Innovations with Electric Models
KOVE has also ventured into electric motorcycle territory with the BONIC and E-500RR. The BONIC features a biomimetic chassis inspired by bird bones, merging lightness with off-road capability, making it an appealing option for eco-conscious riders. The E-500RR is partnered with a KOVE-developed liquid-cooled axial flux motor, targeted to deliver over 50 kW of power while maintaining a weight of less than 150 kg.
Advanced Clutch Technology
In addition, KOVE introduced its innovative electronic clutch system, utilizing sensors to manage clutch engagement. This system offers manual, automatic, and automated manual modes, enhancing the riding experience for users.
Looking Ahead to 2027
KOVE has ambitious plans for the future, with a roadmap that includes three combustion models planned for the second half of 2027 and the electronic clutch expected in the first half of 2028. The brand has made significant strides in competitive racing, having debuted at Dakar in 2023 with all three motorcycles finishing the race. In 2025, KOVE's factory rider Beñat Fernández clinched the WorldSSP300 title, and the 450RR set a lap record at the Assen circuit in 2026, showcasing its racing pedigree.
A Competitive Edge
KOVE continues to leverage data from Dakar and high-level competitions to inform its product development. This commitment to competitive performance translates into advancements in their commercial motorcycle offerings, resulting in bikes that are not only reliable but also innovative. KOVE’s designs promise to provide riders with an enhanced level of reliability and performance, ensuring a formidable presence in both the racing world and the consumer market.
With these exciting developments, KOVE is set to capture the hearts of motorcycle enthusiasts and riders alike, pushing the boundaries of motorcycle technology well into 2027 and beyond.
