Get Ready for the 2026 Mizumoto Dog Festival!
The Mizumoto Dog Festival Executive Committee is thrilled to announce the second edition of this exciting event, set to take place on February 28 and March 1, 2026. The festival will be hosted at Mizumoto Park in Katsushika, Tokyo, which boasts the largest space in the metropolitan area alongside beautiful water scenery.
This festival is designed for dog lovers and their furry companions, featuring a shopping area where you can browse and choose from a variety of pet products. Visitors can also indulge in special experiences, such as having their dog or child's portrait sketched by talented artists at the caricature corner. Additionally, professional dog physiotherapy sessions will be available, alongside exciting workshops like glass candle making and the art of hanam文字 (flower letters).
The event will also feature a pet disaster preparedness class and interactive game areas where dogs and their owners can participate together. Food lovers can look forward to unique food trucks, perfect for enjoying a picnic-style meal with friends and family.

Daily Celebration Photo Sessions
Capture the beautiful, natural moments with your dogs in the park! Our photo sessions focus on authentic interactions between pets and their families. The goal is to document precious memories just as they are. Photographic data and items will be available for you to take home. Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity!
Special Dog Run
During the festival, we will have a temporary dog run area to ensure that your dogs can enjoy plenty of time running around, even while the permanent venue is under renovation.
- - Cost: 500 JPY for 30 minutes per dog (tax included). Proof of current rabies vaccination is required.
- - Up to two owners can accompany each dog.
- - Cash only.
- - Participants who bring the Common Use Registration Card for Public Park Dog Runs can enjoy the first 30 minutes for free.
Training Experience Area
Join us for practical dog training sessions!
- - Pet Disaster Preparedness Class: Learn how to assemble various types of dog cages and participate in simulated emergency evacuation drills!
- - Clicker Training Experience: Focus on improving communication with your pet and learn how to use clickers effectively.
- - Schedule for both days:
- 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Clicker Training
- 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Disaster Class
- 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Clicker Training
- 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Disaster Class

Woof-Woof Lottery
Participate in the shopping lottery at selected stores during the festival to win fantastic prizes!
- - How to Participate: Get your participation ticket by shopping at the lottery stores. Availability may vary by store. Some stores may not participate in the lottery.
- - Prizes: Donations from participating vendors (including bags and treats) along with items from the organizers (toys, wet tissues, dog waste bags).
