CardVault by Tom Brady Expands to Austin
CardVault by Tom Brady, a pioneering name in the realm of sports card retail, has officially unveiled plans for its second location in Texas. The new store will open its doors in Austin's bustling 2nd Street District, marking the brand's 15th retail establishment across the nation. This expansion signifies CardVault's commitment to creating immersive environments catered to sports enthusiasts and collectors alike.
A New Chapter in Austin
Positioned at 259 W 3rd Street in the heart of downtown Austin, the store is set to launch on May 27, 2026. The decision to cultivate a presence in Austin is strategic, as the city is a vibrant hub filled with potential customers, including a rich fan base connected to the University of Texas and Austin FC. The new location aims to offer a premium experience for both serious collectors and casual fans, facilitating a space where people can buy, sell, trade, and engage with sports memorabilia.
What to Expect
The Austin CardVault will feature a carefully curated inventory of single cards, sealed boxes, and packs from top brands like Topps, Panini, Upper Deck, Pokémon, and Fanatics Authentic. Additionally, customers will have the chance to grade their valuables on-site, thanks to partnerships as an authorized dealer for PSA, Beckett, and SGC. This on-site grading service is a unique advantage, helping collectors to preserve their treasures and enhance their value.
The store's centerpiece will be a vault that displays authenticated memorabilia, from autographed helmets to game-worn jerseys. This design aims to create an engaging visual experience for all visitors, reminiscent of a museum showcasing sports history through tangible artifacts.
Community Engagement
Austin's year-round calendar filled with global events, including the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, positions it as a prime location for CardVault's community-focused retail model. Beyond being a shopping destination, the space is intended to be a communal hub. It will host live events, product launches, trade nights, and interactive activities to foster a spirit of camaraderie among collectors.
Chris Costa, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of CardVault, expressed enthusiasm for this expansion, highlighting Austin's vibrant energy and its reputation as a cultural hotspot. “This city is brimming with life, culture, and sports passion. We believe CardVault's unique community-driven approach will resonate here,
