Canine Companions® Celebrates National Service Dog Month with Live Puppy Cam

September marks National Service Dog Month, a time when we recognize the vital role that service dogs play in enhancing the lives of those with disabilities. Canine Companions®, renowned as the nation’s first and largest service dog organization, is enthusiastically inviting everyone to join in this celebration. The organization is bringing back its beloved Puppy Cam livestream, which provides viewers with a heartwarming look into the early stages of service dogs' development.

When and Where to Tune In

From September 22 to September 30 in 2026, the Puppy Cam will be live-streamed from the Canine Companions nursery. People can catch a glimpse of puppies as they embark on their journey to become service dogs. This event will stream daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. PT (9 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET), allowing ample opportunity for puppy lovers everywhere to tune in and enjoy.

What to Expect from the Puppy Cam

The livestream will showcase seven adorable Labrador/Golden Retriever mix puppies playing, learning, and taking their first steps—each moment representing the start of a life-changing partnership with someone in need. To add to the excitement, beloved character Snoopy will make a special appearance to interact with the puppies and provide an insightful look into what it takes for these canines to train as service dogs.
