Association Law Group Marks 20th Anniversary with Expanded Services and Premier Clients
Association Law Group Celebrates 20 Years
On October 12, 2026, the Association Law Group (ALG) proudly celebrated its 20th anniversary as a leading law firm in Miami focusing on community associations and condominiums. Founded in 2006, ALG has built a reputation for providing exceptional legal counsel to homeowners and communities throughout South Florida. Over the years, the firm has seen significant growth, not only in its team of attorneys but also in its client base and physical presence.
In recognition of this remarkable milestone, ALG received a special certificate of congratulation from the Miami-Dade County Office of the Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners. This honor is a testament to the extensive work ALG has accomplished in the area, representing some of the most prestigious residential towers in Miami, including luxury facilities such as the Four Seasons Surf Club, Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach, St. Regis Bal Harbor, and Continuum in South Beach.
Law firm managing partner Ben Solomon highlighted the firm's dedication and growth, stating, "Twenty years ago, we set out with the goal of creating a law firm that would offer the best-qualified legal advice to Florida's homeowner communities with responsiveness and experience. Today, I proudly affirm that we have the best team in the industry who genuinely cares about our work and our clients."
A cornerstone of ALG’s success is its committed team, many of whom have been with the firm for nearly two decades. Partner Jeffrey R. Cooperman, office director Gladys Pompa, and recently promoted Chief Financial Officer Shinelle Willoughby are among the longstanding members whose expertise has helped shape the firm. Furthermore, partners Michael C. Gongora and Lilliana M. Farinas-Sabogal have been recognized in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for their outstanding contributions to community association law. Notably, Lilliana Farinas-Sabogal has also been appointed as adjunct faculty at the University of Miami School of Law.
The firm’s physical expansion reflects its growth trajectory. ALG is currently enlarging its Miami office to accommodate its growing team and enhance client services. Additionally, it has established a presence in Fort Lauderdale with more attorneys and staff, and plans to open a new office in Boca Raton at Two Town Center to serve clients across Palm Beach County and the northern regions.
In the past year alone, ALG has welcomed over a hundred new clients, a clear indicator of the growing demand for quality legal services in this specialized area. The firm remains committed to serving community associations across Florida with the highest level of legal expertise, steadfast in its mission to empower these entities within the communities they represent.
As ALG moves forward, it aims to uphold its standards of excellence and remain a trusted advisor for community associations and condominiums throughout the state. With a firm foundation built over two decades, the Association Law Group is excited about the future and its continued growth in the field of community association law.
