Exciting Family-Friendly Activities at CTIS Children's Summer Festival 2025
From August 22 to 23, 2025, the Capital Tokyo International School (CTIS) in Shibuya will host the
CTIS Children's Summer Festival 2025 at the
Shibuya Sakura Stage. This special event is tailored for preschool to early elementary school children and their families. Participants will enjoy a variety of unique experiences and activities facilitated by local businesses and brands throughout this expansive complex.
Festival Highlights
The CTIS Children's Summer Festival offers a platform for children to connect with their community through hands-on experiences. Spanning the numerous areas of the
Shibuya Sakura Stage, including
Nigawa Stage,
Hugukumi Stage,
Bloom Gate, and various tenant areas, the festival promises an interactive and enjoyable day for all attendees.
Engaging Activities
Families can look forward to many activities at the food stall area, such as traditional Japanese games and food trucks serving delightful snacks. It's the perfect setting to indulge in summer fun while creating lasting memories as a family.
Moreover, the festival will feature numerous experiential booths from tenants and partner companies of the Shibuya Sakura Stage. Activities range from crafts to sports, and even unique culinary experiences, all designed to ignite children's curiosity and creativity.
A stamp rally will also take place during the event, encouraging kids to explore and collect stamps from various locations for a chance to exchange them for wonderful prizes. This exciting scavenger hunt fosters exploration and community interaction.
Educational Opportunities for Parents
For parents, the festival includes a seminar by the
International Education Lab (IEL), covering trends in international education and CTIS's project-based learning (PBL) approach. Additionally, at the CTIS booth within the venue, attendees can access informative pamphlets and engage in one-on-one educational consultations. This is a wonderful chance to delve deeper into CTIS's innovative teaching strategies and community involvement.
In the evening, attendees can participate in a lively
Bon Odori dance, surrounded by family and friends under the evening sky in Shibuya. Donning traditional attire such as yukata or jinbei is highly encouraged, fostering a vibrant and joyous atmosphere as everyone joins in on the dance.
Organizational Background
This event is proudly organized by CTIS Shibuya Kindergarten and co-hosted by Tokyu Land Corporation. The operations will be led by High Style Co., showcasing a collaborative effort among local businesses and organizations to bring this community event to life.
