The 13th Nakano Station Bon Odori Festival
Tokyo Tatemono Co., Ltd. is excited to announce that the 13th Nakano Station Bon Odori Festival, organized by the Nakano Folk Song Federation and the Nakano Station Bon Odori Festival Executive Committee, will take place at Nakano Central Park and Nakano Shiki no Mori Park on August 2nd (Saturday) and 3rd (Sunday), 2025.
Last year’s 12th festival attracted approximately 75,000 attendees over the two days, highlighting the popularity of this event. This year's festival focuses on the theme of enjoying traditional song and dance with live music, including local favorites such as ‘Nakano Ondo,’ as well as songs from across Japan like ‘Tokyo Ondo,’ ‘Tankobushi,’ ‘Doda Rabachi,’ and ‘Kagoshima Ohara.’ Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of guests, including renowned DJs like DJ KOO, DJ CELLY (aka Bon Jovi), Nanase Aikawa, Midori Oka, Ichiro Yatsui, and The Lethal Weapons, among many others.
The festival will also feature a unique dance event called ‘Bon Jovi’—a celebration of Bon Jovi's hits transformed into traditional Bon Odori dances, receiving the singer's personal endorsement. This year’s event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for attendees to celebrate summer in style.
In addition to its entertainment value, the festival aims to energize the local community and support social and economic revitalization through the celebration of traditional festivities.
