Greenzie Achieves Major Milestone with 255,000 Autonomous Mowing Miles

Greenzie Surpasses 255,000 Autonomous Mowing Miles

In a remarkable achievement highlighting the advancements in commercial autonomy, Greenzie has officially surpassed a significant milestone of 255,000 autonomous mowing miles. This distance equals more than the average gap between the Earth and the Moon, showcasing the expansive impact of this technology across real-world applications.

Founded in 2018, Greenzie has become a leading technology platform focused on enabling commercial autonomy for various equipment manufacturers. The company's autonomous mowers have collectively operated over 9 billion square feet of turf for more than 200 commercial customers across four countries. This achievement also translates to an impressive 65,000 equivalent operator days of autonomous mowing, demonstrating Greenzie's substantial contributions to landscape management.

Charles Brian Quinn, co-founder and CEO of Greenzie, expressed pride in this milestone, stating, "We mowed to the moon, but the real achievement is the commercial experience behind those miles." Each mile represents practical applications of their technology on actual properties, helping shape enhancements to their autonomous solutions and strengthen relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners.

Greenzie has continuously supported commercial deployments since 2021, with technical innovations aimed at addressing labor challenges and improving productivity. Notably, the Wright Autonomous Stander ZK™, integrated with Greenzie Powered Autonomy™, plays a vital role in showcasing the potential of autonomous mowing in the landscaping industry. Ed Wright, CEO of Wright Manufacturing, emphasized the collaborative spirit between the companies: "Reaching this milestone reflects the commitment of our teams, dealers, and customers who have put the technology to work. We are proud of the experience we have built together and what it means for the future of commercial mowing."

In addition to its partnership with Wright, Greenzie collaborates with other key players like Mean Green Electric Mowers, Greenworks Commercial, and Bobcat. These partnerships extend the reach of Greenzie Powered Autonomy™ across diverse commercial equipment programs, all designed to facilitate seamless operations.

Understanding the complexities surrounding the adoption of autonomous technology, Greenzie has developed the Greenzie Powered Autonomy™ Adoption Program. This structured approach assists clients in evaluating properties for suitable deployment, onboarding operators, measuring success, and expanding their autonomous operations. Steve Bush, Greenzie’s Chief Operating Officer, remarked, "Successful autonomy requires more than capable technology. Customers need to understand where autonomy fits into their operations and how to measure success."

The company's aim is to foster a broader understanding and adoption of commercial autonomy. Quinn visionary stated, "Commercial autonomy is already part of everyday operations for customers across the industry. Our focus now is on building on that experience and helping more manufacturers introduce autonomy into the marketplace."

Greenzie stands at the forefront of transforming how landscape operations are conducted, paving the way for a future where autonomous technology is not just an option but an integral part of daily operations.
